The Matthew A. Martinez Real Estate Fund awards scholarships to promising students studying real estate at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This scholarship was established to help students with the cost of their tuition so they may pursue this field of study.
ELIGIBILITY
The scholarship will be awarded annually and will be paid directly to the student’s university.
To be eligible, the applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled full-time at a U.S. accredited four-year college or university with a declared major or minor in real estate.

To be considered for the award, applicant packets must be received by April 15th and include all of the following items:
- Matthew A. Martinez Real Estate Scholarship Application
- A copy of official transcript(s), showing all completed high school (for incoming Freshmen only) or college or university courses
- Two letters of recommendation. Recommendations may come from advisers, faculty members, teachers, professors or employers.
- An original 250 - 500 word essay explaining how real estate will allow the applicant to achieve their goals.
SELECTION
Scholarships are awarded annually on the basis of:
- Overall academic achievement demonstrated by official transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation
- An original essay of 250 - 500 words
